Shalimar Pointe

Shalimar is a challenge for both weekend and scratch golfers alike. Golf Digest gives Shalimar Pointe four stars, along with Golf Week listing it as one of the top 50 development courses in Florida. The club has hosted the U.S. Open qualifier tournament and boasts a notoriously tough two-tiered 11th hole. This is a two-tier green, and the only bail-out area is to the right of the green. The par-72, 6,764-yard layout, Finger Dye-designed course features impeccably manicured greens and strategically placed bunkers.

Conveniently located in the heart of Destin, Indian Bayou has been pleasing the discriminating golfer for more than 20 years. This club has three nines-- Creek, Seminole and Choctaw -- that are played in three 18-hole combinations. While many marshes and swamps come into play on numerous holes, Indian Bayou is a forgiving course. Large undulating greens and wide fairways make Indian Bayou a "must play" in the area.
